In this workshop, teachers will learn how to use the MIT Edgerton Center and other DNA/RNA and Protein Sets to teach cellular processes that are difficult to understand, such as replication, transcription, and translation. Specifically made to be manipulated, the models help students kinesthetically learn about DNA/RNA/protein structure and function. Lessons can be easily adapted for different learning levels.
