Students are given a heterogeneous mixture of four substances and a list of available materials and are tasked with developing a procedure to separate the four substances and collect them in their sold state. Students start by researching the physical properties of the four substances and developing a hypothesis. Then, they will test their hypothesis in the lab and evaluate their success.
